Farewell, Midgard

A design I started as a 1colour design, so shirt colour plus one ink colour. Added a white somewhere in the process, so it turned out as a 2 colour design.
It's basically a still-life consisting of some viking iconic items. I know vikings didn't have horned helmets, but they look so much cooler with horns.

Judging by the score it got at threadless, my greatest design up to date. It's just a funny little iceberg have fun with a boat and a submarine, like a kid would play with his toy boat in the bathtub. I kept it clean and rather simple.

It's a remake of my very first design I submitted at Threadless. It's a scene filled with smoke, clouds, and evil halloween creatures. Summoned ghouls, ghastly cloudcreatures, and a beast lurking behind a pumpkin.

The whole meteor story, I'm sure you've heard it, how the dinosaurs got extinct.. I never happened. This is what happened. Slime-aliens violently erasing the dinosaurs from the planet sounds a whole lot more credible then some meteor crashing in and destroying all life. Right?

My entry for a contest over at Threadless, with Democracy as the theme. I took the general idea of democracy, which is that everyone has influence. I translated that to a little livingroom scene, with some plans, objects and a cat, all using their right to watch tv, and get to decide what's on tv.

This started out as a simple idea, some animalheads together, roaring. I added to mouse in there for a little fun twist. All the animals pack quite a roar, but the mouse comes in and rules them all. He has the mightiest roar.

Pretty much a random train of thoughts. I wanted to do something where I combine texture with clean vectorgraphics. I started out with the mountains, and the blue water creature thing, and just kept on going from there. It just developed as I went along.

The husband of my sister plays on this band, On Fire, and I got asked if I could do a bandshirt for them. I said sure thing. This one is the final shirt, it got printed and sold out almost the same night it went up for sale at the release of their new album. Check em out at: On Fire.
